Last week, River Silks made a stop at Stitch Inn in Elm Grove, WI to teach a class in stitching with silk ribbon. We had about 14 in the class, with a range of experience from beginners to expert stitchers. We taught from locking the ribbon on the needle all the way through the spider rose stitch.

Cheryl, the owner of Stitch Inn, arranged to have the class at the Silver Spur restaurant. It was the perfect arrangement, having class and lunch in the same location.
One of the stitchers Susie Landron was kind enough to bring in a piece she had just finished embroidering with River Silks ribbon. The pattern was from Inspirations magazine, issue 64 from 2009, pictured below. Thanks for sharing it with us, Susie!
